Provide support to advance graduate medical education initiatives and provide professional development for learners, faculty, and staff.
The Lisa Lapham Memorial Fund in Behavioral Health supports the CMU College of Medicine Psychiatry Residency Program and HealthSource Saginaw by advancing graduate medical education initiatives and providing professional development for learners, faculty, and staff. In addition to continuing education, the fund supports research, lectureships, community activities, and general public health initiatives related to behavioral health.
Lisa Lapham (1971-2020) was a treasured wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. A Central Michigan University graduate, she was dedicated to her work as the chief executive officer of HealthSource Saginaw and a tireless advocate for psychiatric medical education and behavioral health.
To honor her life and her commitment to behavioral health faculty and students, her friends and colleagues created this memorial fund that bears her name.
Lisa Lapham’s legacy will be one of great love for her family; her equitable treatment of all people, regardless of their professional status or life circumstances; and her commitment to improving the behavioral health of her community.
