Support The Central Michigan ROTC Fund for Excellence
For GivingTuesday 2020, a generous $25,000 gift from John Kulhavi was pledged to be matched once we reached $25,000 for a total impact of $50,000.
About the Fund
COL R. John Cully is a 1970 alum. He participated in both ROTC and Men’s Football during this time at CMU, joining the 2001 ROTC Hall of Fame. After graduating, John served 27 years on active duty in the U.S. Army as a helicopter pilot and intelligence officer. He served with the 101st Airborne Division in Vietnam, flying for the 2/17th Air Cavalry. In 1980, he branch transferred to Military Intelligence. During his last 17 years of active duty, he led special mission units commanding at the battalion and brigade levels. He retired in 1997 from active duty.
Already being a philanthropic alum of CMU, this year, John established The Central Michigan ROTC Fund for Excellence. This fund is meant to provide financial resources for ROTC leadership to enhance the field training experience for CMU cadets enrolled in the program.
In honor of our CMU Veterans who serve and who have served, please consider contributing to this fund today.
