Help a child with a communication disorder attend CMU Summer Speech-Language Specialty Clinics designed to benefit him or her for life!
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s Summer Speech-Language Specialty Clinics is moving to a telepractice model of service delivery. We will program for approximately 40 children to receive speech and language intervention services with our SLP graduate student clinicians, supervised by their clinical instructors, for nine weeks this summer.
Although the delivery method for services has changed this year, the need for support has not waivered. Services to these children under the telepractice model will be free of charge, yet additional equipment for the families and virtual therapy materials may still be needed. SSC is here to support our families and clinicians as we move through this new wave of technology. By continuing to support a camper, your donations will go towards needed headphones or other essentials that the children and clinicians may need.
Please consider making a donation of any dollar amount in support of this evidenced based practice for our campers and clinicians. We are thankful that SSC will be able to deliver a 74th year of speech and language intervention to help children become competent communicators while training our SLP graduate clinicians to be highly qualified, compassionate speech-languages pathologists.
