Life is full of twists and turns, events that can threaten a student’s college education. At CMU, our Student Emergency Fund is there when our students need a boost, often allowing them to stay in school through difficult circumstances.
Jacob Justice was struggling to pay his bills when his GMC Sonoma truck broke down. It was an expensive repair. He couldn’t afford it. He applied for Student Emergency and received $2,000.
“That went a long way to helping me continue to stay at school,” Justice said. “Life happens, right? You never know what’s going to get in the way.”
